Sherrilyn Kenyon At Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore For Book Pre-Lanch

Menyons gathered en masse today at Mysterious Galaxy bookstore in San Diego to meet Sherrilyn Kenyon.  Ms. Kenyon was there for the pre-launch event celebrating the publication of her latest installment in The League: Nemesis Rising series, "Born of Vengeance".  The novel will not be available for sale to the general public until February 7th, but lucky fans got to pick up their copy at the event today, and get it signed as well.

Joining Ms. Kenyon at the pre-launch event was her friend, and co-collaborator on "The Dark Hunter Companion", Alethea Kontis.  Ms. Kontis is also the author of fifteen books and contributor to over twenty-five more.   The event kicked off with a Q & A with fans, followed by a book signing.  The audience was enthusiastic, and asked lots of great questions about characters from both the Dark Hunter and The League book series.  Some questions centered around the fates of various characters, and events in the books, and possible ideas for future books.

There were also questions about the movie and TV series plans that are in the works for the Dark Hunter and Chronicles of Nick books.  Ms. Kenyon reassured fans who voiced concern that the film projects might not be faithful to the books, that, so far, she has had final say over the scripts, and the scripts presented so far, follow the books very closely.  Ms. Kenyon reported that 3 scripts have been written so far:  one on Tabitha, the other 2 on other characters - she could not immediately recall which.  No cast has been confirmed, there are no release dates for the movie or the TV series, and no network is attached currently.  Ms. Kenyon states that everything is still in development, and not yet ready to be sent out for bids.  As soon as there is news to report, she will get it out to fans.
