This is pretty much the best tool ever developed for readers. Think Amazon & other online vendors are convenient? They might be, but nothing beats free - or supporting your local library. Install the Library Extension widget on Google Chrome, and while you browse books and e-books on Amazon, it will check your library's catalog and tell if you if that same book is available at your local library. If the book is checked out, it will also tell you when it's available.
The extension allows you to pick your favorite local libraries and add them to a list. Then, when you shop for books on Amazon, the extension adds a box that will let you know if those books are available at your library. If they are, you can just take a quick drive to pick up the book for free.
