California Screamin Launch Parties At Mysterious Galaxy & Warwick's

Members of the Horror Writers of America's San Diego chapter present their debut anthology, California Screamin'Featuring stories by both established and emerging voices in the horror genre, California Screamin' is an anthology of dark fiction set in the Golden State.  California Screamin’ peels back the sunshine and palm trees to expose the hidden darkness in the brutal heart of California.  The authors contributing to the book spin tales of terror that will make you re-think your next vacation.  The anthology is edited by Danielle Kaheaku, with an introduction by Jonathan Maberry.  The contents are:

HWA San Diego chapter members put this anthology together as a fund raiser for their scholarship to support struggling writers.  All proceeds from the sale of the anthology will go towards that scholarship program.  There will be 2 events in San Diego to celebrate its release.

The first event will be at Mysterious Galaxy bookstore on October 22nd, starting at 2pm.  Editor Danielle Kaheaku and contributors Jean Graham, Aaron Smith, E.S. Magill, Richard W. Goldsmith, and Billy Ingreso will read from their stories, and will also be available to sign copies of the book after the readings.

The second event will be at Warwick's bookstore on October 27th, starting at 7:30pm.  Alexandra Neumeister, Chad Stroup, James Jensen & Lori R. Lopez will be there to discuss and sign the book.
