Stan Sakai & Kevin Eastman will be signing at the San Diego Comic Art Gallery tomorrow, June 2, from 6:30p.m. - 8:30p.m. Stan Sakai is the creator, author, and artist on the comic book, Usagi Yojimbo. Usagi Yojimbo is the epic saga of Miyamoto Usagi, a samurai rabbit living in late-sixteenth and early-seventeenth-century Japan. Kevin Eastman is the creator, writer, and artist on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books. Miyamoto Usagi has appeared in TMNT cartoons, and the TMNT & Miyamoto Usagi characters have appeared together in comic book crossover events. Additionally, Stan Sakai will be writing, and drawing, an ALL NEW Usagi Yojimbo/TMNT one shot from IDW Publishing!
The San Diego Comic Art Gallery is currently running an Usagi Yojimbo exhibition, as well. The exhibit features over 20 pieces of original art, and it will be running from April 20th through late June. Kevin Eastman's work studio is housed at the San Diego Comic Art Gallery, and visitors can check out all of the original TMNT artwork, toys, and more there as well.
