Penguin Random House has announced their plans for San Diego Comic Con. They will be bringing a full slate of their authors to speak at panels, as well as do signings at their booth on the Exhibit Floor (booths 1514, 1515, and 4020). The authors are all promoting new book releases, due out primarily over this summer. Some of the authors expected to attend are:
– Daryl Gregory (author of Spoonbenders), who will be speaking on the Genre-Bending panel on July 22 at 1 pm, as well as having two in-booth signings (booth #1515)
– Gabe Hudson (author of Gork: The Teenage Dragon), who will be speaking on a panel about writing humor on July 20 at 3 pm, as well as having two in-booth signings (booth #1515)
– Sonny Liew (author and artist of the Eisner-nominated graphic novel The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye), who will be participating in 4 different panels at SDCC, as well as having two in-booth signings (booth #1515)
– Daniel Wilson (NYT bestselling author of Clockwork Dynasty), who will be speaking on the Living in the Future panel on July 22 at 3 pm, as well as holding an in-booth signing (booth #1515)
– Karin Tidbeck (author of Amatka), who will be speaking on the Living in the Future panel on July 22 at 3 pm, as well as holding an in-booth signing (booth #1515)
– Christopher Rice (co-author, with his mother, Anne Rice, of Ramses The Damned) who will be moderating the Living in the Future panel on July 22 at 3 pm, as well as holding an in-booth signing (booth #1515)
