Andy Weir, acclaimed author of the New York Times best-selling novel, The Martian, will be at the Clarke Center on December 7th for the launch of his new novel, Artemis. Artemis is the first, and only, city on the moon. Life in this territory is tough, and people get by as best they can. Jazz moonlights as a small-time smuggler, until the chance to commit the perfect crime presents itself. She then finds herself embroiled in a conspiracy for control of Artemis itself.
Artemis will soon be made into a film by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Weir will discuss Artemis with Dr. Erik Viirre, Associate Director of the Clarke Center and the Medical and Technical Director of the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE.
