Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Clarion Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers' Workshop. Clarion is an intensive six-week summer program focused on fundamentals particular to the writing of science fiction and fantasy short stories. The workshop is considered an excellent training ground for aspiring writers of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. The instructors are among the most respected writers and editors working today. Over one third of the graduates of the workshop have been published.
This year's workshop will run from June 24th - August 4th, 2018. The 2018 writers in residence are:
